Tesla unveiled its most radical vehicle yet with the announcement of Tesla Cybertruck in Los Angeles.

The 100% electric pickup truck that looks like a creation from the distant future.

The Tesla Cybertruck attracts a lot of attention with its unique shape.

Also, Elon Musk ensured the stainless steel construction is resistant to hammer blows and bullet impacts.

Jump on inside, and find that up to six passengers can comfortably travel.

The cabin features a minimalist design and includes a 17-inch touchscreen.

As for the steering wheel, it’s in a conceptual style. And, a traditional steering wheel will replace it when the model enters production.

We know you are absolutely excited about the price, release, key features and specifications of Tesla’s Cybertruck.

Thus, here is what we know so far.

All of Elon Musk’s rumors, leaks, and teasers were true.

The Tesla Cybertruck is real, and it is a car as innovative and different from anything we have seen as we hoped for.

Prices will start competitive, at least in the simplest single-engine version: $39,900.

The available versions will be the following:

  • Single engine with 250 miles of autonomy, capable of towing 7,500 lb. From 0-60 miles in 6.5 seconds, for $ 39,900.
  • Double engine with 300 miles of autonomy, capable of towing 10,000 lb. From 0-100 miles in 4.5 seconds, for $ 49,900.
  • Triple engine with 500 miles of autonomy, capable of towing 14,000 lb. From 0-100 miles in 2.9 seconds, for $ 69,900.

There were high expectations placed on the new Tesla release, especially for being a model that was so far from its current models.

The goal with the Cybertruck is to attract shoppers who want to get away from the city and work or experiment outdoors.

Tesla could have taken a Model Y, raised the suspension and called it “off-road”.

But, that would have been way too easy for Elon Musk.

The car he unveiled recently is the freshest, powerful and more straightforward than any manufacturer in the industry has unveiled in recent decades.

We should be and are excited about that.

The Tesla Cybertruck is a pickup, which may not come as a surprise for many. It is the most popular type of vehicle in the US.

Getting into this market, normally dominated by large diesel engines, is risky; that’s why they couldn’t help themselves.

Thus, the Cybertruck lives up to its name with a futuristic look, with its right angles and wheels that look like something out of a movie.

But, that does not mean that it will break as soon as we put it on the field.

As far as Cybertruck’s key features, the chassis is made of stainless steel, just like the first prototype of the Starship, the ship with which Elon Musk wants to take us to Mars.

It can take a hammer blow without question, and even Musk promises that it will be 9mm bulletproof.

Even the glass is armored, being able to withstand the impact of a metal ball.

Curiously enough, in the presentation, the glass withstood the blow but broke on impact, something that surprised Musk and could be a manufacturing error.

But above all, the Cybertruck hopes to be practical, with its 2,800-liter capacity “bed” with a roll-up cover.

Also, featuring front storage space, plus compartments on the roof just as the body roll begins.

Tesla’s Cybertruck is made for work, but we can also use it for leisure: one of the options will be a store where we can sleep during our adventures.

This is still a Tesla, so it will have great performance.

Musk has promised acceleration from 0 to 100 miles in just 2.9 seconds, something unheard of in such a vehicle.

The maximum speed will be 130 mph.

Off-road you can tackle sharp 33 ° angles with no problem.

All thanks to the fact that the Cybertruck will not only have a single-engine version, but also with two, and even with three!

This is something Tesla already tested with the Model S Plaid, and it certainly worked out well.

The configuration with added electric motors allows having much larger autonomy, even though Tesla has not given exact numbers just yet, only a range of about 500 miles.

Tesla Cybertruck is not only the most amazing pickup truck unveiled in recent years; it is also the most interesting off-road vehicle.

That is saying a lot, but there is still enough to make it come true.

Production will not start until the end of 2021, and only for the cheapest models; the three-engine model won’t arrive until 2022.

It is still unknown if the Covid-19 crisis will have an impact on the dates, but hopes are they will not.

It seems that Tesla had to present the Cybertruck already, considering that important competitors are approaching in that sector.

Rivian, which is planting itself as one of its main rivals, has its electric van much closer to launch.

But, it is undeniable that the Cybertruck has a special appeal that no other vehicle has.

Tesla has stated that the production of the Cybertruck starts in late 2021. But, the single motor rear-wheel-drive version won’t start until late 2021.

You can reserve your own Tesla Cybertruck with a deposit of $100. This deposit is 100% fully-refundable in case you change your mind.

Personal customization of your reservation will be available closer to the production date.
